## About

Merge Kasbah is a physics merge game combined with tower defense, set at a desert caravan fortress. Beetles, sand djinns and scarabs follow a winding road above your vault toward the gate. Some waves bring a big djinn.

Drop round turrets into the vault below the road. They fall, bounce and settle under real physics. When two turrets of the same step touch, they merge into the next turret and earn you points. Larger turrets shoot harder and reach farther.

Your turrets fire upward from the top edge of the vault. Their resting place on the left or right determines which part of the road they can reach. From step five, mortars lob shells that damage a small area. Hold the gate through all 12 waves and the caravan is safe. After that you can keep playing in endless mode.

## How to play

1. Move your mouse or finger over the vault to aim.
2. Click or lift your finger to drop a turret.
3. Use the Next box to see which turret is coming.
4. Drop turrets and let them settle in the vault.
5. When two turrets of the same step touch, they merge and score points.
6. Place turrets on the side that can reach the part of the road you want to defend.
7. Keep enemies from reaching the gate, which has 20 lives.
8. Clear all 12 waves to protect the caravan; endless mode is then available if you want to continue.

## Tips

- Check the Next box before choosing where to aim.
- Use the left and right sides of the vault to cover different parts of the road.
- Leave room for new drops so the vault does not fill too quickly.
- Matching turrets merge when they touch, so watch where they settle.
- Mortars from step five damage a small area around each hit.
- A wave cleared without losing a life earns a Flawless mark.

## The turret ladder

The eight steps, from smallest to largest, are Spark Popper, Lantern Cannon, Brass Popper, Twin Lantern, Copper Mortar, Kilim Mortar, Sun Mortar and Grand Bastion. You can drop only the four smallest from your hand; larger ones come from merges. Merging two Grand Bastions makes a firework that hits every enemy and awards 150 points.

The game ends if the vault fills and a resting turret stays above the danger line for a few seconds, or if the gate's 20 lives reach zero. A newly dropped turret gets a brief grace period. When the stack nears the line, the line flashes red and a LIMIT label appears. The first time the vault overflows, you get one Last chance: the two topmost turrets are removed and the game goes on.

### How do merging and the firework work?

When two turrets of the same step touch, they merge into the next step and give you points. Two Grand Bastions merge into a firework that hits every enemy on the field and gives 150 bonus points. You drop only the four smallest turrets; the rest come from merging.
