About
Sneaky Exit is a short trap platformer and troll game. Guide a little character to the exit door in each of 20 levels. The level has other plans: a floor may drop, or the door may move away once. Each level has a different trick.
You will die often. That is part of the game, and restarting takes under a quarter of a second. A counter tracks your deaths; each level keeps your fewest-deaths record, and the menu shows your total. The traps happen in the same places at the same moments, so a failed attempt can teach you what to do next.
Levels unlock in order, and you can choose any level you have reached from the menu. Play free in your browser on a computer, phone, or tablet, with no download or sign-up. On a phone held upright, a hint suggests turning it sideways. Progress and settings are saved in this browser on this device.
How to play
- Walk with the Left/Right arrow keys or A/D.
- Jump with Up, W, Space, or Z.
- Reach the exit door to finish the level.
- Press R to restart the level.
- Press Esc or P to pause.
- On a phone or tablet, use the on-screen left, right, and jump buttons.
- Use the menu to choose a reached level, switch music or sound effects on or off, or change language.
Tips
- A trap that catches you will catch you the same way next time, so use the first death to look around.
- When a trap gets you, note what changed on screen.
- Once you know the trap, try a different move.
- Restart is instant, so test what you learned right away.
- The death counter only records your attempts and carries no penalty.
FAQ

Yes. You can play it free in your browser.
Do I need to sign up?
No. There is no sign-up, and you do not need to download anything.
Can I play on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The game works on phones, tablets, and computers. Touch devices have on-screen left, right, and jump buttons.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. This browser on this device saves your unlocked level, records, total deaths, settings, and language. Clearing site data removes the saved information.

No. Each trap happens in the same place and at the same moment every time.
How many levels are there, and do deaths cost anything?
There are 20 levels. Deaths have no penalty, and the level restarts almost instantly.
What if I get stuck on a level?
If you stay stuck for 8 seconds, the game shows the next moves from the level's solution as a hint. After 10 deaths in the same level, a "Skip level" button appears. A skipped level is marked "Skipped" and sets no record.
