Caravan Solitaire uses the rules of Klondike Solitaire, also on PlayKervan, for expeditions along historical Anatolian caravan roads. You choose from six routes with 8 to 12 stops, including a journey from Bursa to Kayseri. Each stop has its own deal and goal. You might need to send cards to the foundations, score points, build up one foundation or reveal face-down cards.
Supplies limit how long you can work on each deal. Clear a stop and choose a talisman that changes the rules for the rest of your expedition. Your caravan can carry up to six talismans. The Daily Expedition gives everyone the same road, deals and talisman offers that day.
How to play
- Start an expedition and read the goal for your current stop.
- Play the Klondike deal, making moves that help you reach that goal.
- Draw one card at a time from the stock. You can turn the stock over twice per stop.
- Watch your supplies: every move, draw and undo costs one supply.
- Reach the goal before supplies run out, then choose a talisman to keep for the rest of the expedition.
- Continue along the route. Each cleared stop unlocks new talismans for later expeditions.
- Failing a stop ends the expedition, unless you have the Evil Eye Bead. It breaks and the stop is dealt again.
Tips
- Read the stop's goal before spending supplies on your first move.
- Count undo as part of your supply budget.
- Keep track of your remaining stock turnovers.
- Choose talismans with the remaining expedition in mind, since they stay with your caravan.
- Save Joker Camel's once-per-stop move for a card you need to place on another column.
